Youth Sailing
Give young people a confident start on the water with a BOSS youth sailing course for teenagers aged 14–17. The programmes include fun focused RYA Competent Crew training for beginners, experience-building yachting courses, RYA Day Skipper practical and combined theory and practical courses for suitably experienced sailors aged 16 and over, and sailing programmes for the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. With DofE Silver and Gold expeditions and a Gold Residential RYA Competent Crew and Day Skipper course available, young sailors can develop practical seamanship, teamwork, navigation, leadership and independence while gaining recognised qualifications and valuable experience aboard a cruising yacht.
