Women’s Sailing Courses
Discover BOSS women’s sailing courses, created for women who want to learn, refresh or develop their sailing skills in a relaxed and supportive environment. Based at Hamble Point Marina, our practical courses take place in the Solent and along the South Coast, combining hands-on instruction with real cruising experience.
Complete beginners can start with the Ladies Only RYA Competent Crew Course, while sailors who want more time afloat can build confidence on the Ladies Experience Sailing Course. Those ready to take responsibility for a yacht and crew can progress to the Ladies Only RYA Day Skipper Practical Course.
Develop practical skills including helming, sail handling, ropework, navigation, pilotage, passage planning and boat handling. Courses are run with an all-female crew, while instruction may be provided by an experienced male or female RYA instructor.
Whether you are sailing for the first time or progressing towards independent skippering, BOSS provides a welcoming route to greater confidence and competence afloat.
