Women's Sailing Courses

RYA Sailing Courses for Women

Twice a year, in the early Summer and Autumn we run five-day Women only courses. These practical courses follow the same format as our other courses, whilst enjoying the company of other women onboard. 

Sailing with other women as part of a crew, many ladies find that their learning is enhanced, and self-confidence given a real boost.

Our RYA qualified  *Instructors will guide you through "man" overboard drills, safety, boat handling and tying the essential knots. The RYA Competent Crew or RYA Day Skipper practical syllabus can be followed over the five day course.  If you are already qualified you can of course join us for an experience sailing course, to build on your existing skills and gain more confidence.  

Teaching ratio on board 5:1

*Instructors Our instructors are chosen for their experience, teaching style and calm demeanour. They may be male or female instructors.

Not included in the course fee: Although accommodation is provided onboard, the mooring fees are split between the students. Wet weather jackets & salopettes are available to hire for £7.50 per day. A selection of accompanying course books & logbooks are available to purchase.

Students should allow for one evening meal ashore on a five day course. All other catering including three evening meals are provided onboard.
